The Other - A map to the wall

Graduation thesis from the Gerrit Rietveld Academie. 

​

This research explores the way in which the idea of a dangerous other gave birth to the border walls between Mexico and the US. 

​

Printed in the way of a road map, through it's text gives context to the performance "excuse me, we need some space", and through it's image gives a sense of scale, using a black cord which represents the distance of the border (MX-US) parting from Amsterdam.
